TBH, I don't think it's about effort. It's just his style of play, and to be that big and to then be mobile as F? Not that realistic.

Mikko has a lazy outlook, but sometimes reading here you would think we are talking about Daigle, Kovalev or PLD here.

I don't think it's about effort. Not everyone is built like MacKinnon, who's just driving turbocharged all the time. Not even Forsberg was that.

Some plays I definitely feel like he isn't putting his whole body to it. He should be taking any battle with his butt.

That might be part of saving for the bigger games.
