LEM needs talent, size, skill and a change of culture badly.
It is not likely a signing that impacts the NHL club but anytime you can add a solid player to LEM then you do so.

Mooseheads season ticket holder here (instant Avs fan when you guys got Mackinnon). We only faced Val D' Or twice in the regular season and then 4 home games in the playoffs.

Henley was often noticeable on the ice (not just for his size), though not dominant or anything. A decent if not spectacular forward.

If we sign that young fellow now to an ELC, he'll be an RFA we hold the rights to once the contract runs out, right?

Maybe waiting until after the World Championships? It is the only thing I can really think of. They didn't wait last year... so maybe not.

Maybe they are waiting until July to announce all of their Euro signings because on one they need to wait for him to become a UFA...

Nothing bad about signing an undrafted guy to stock Lake Erie. Maybe he blossoms to the NHL level, maybe not, but it doesn't cost them assets. McLeod got signed that way and once called up never went back. That's rare but it happens.

Should be another AHL guy but you never know. Both of the AHL singing last year played big roles on this team.
