I actually don't blame AJ for semi-criticizing this deal, I suggest he's better than what has been mentioned here, but how he was able to smuggle an extra 500k is pretty impressive from his agent. Inconsistent player, but that doesn't make him useless though.

Foote Blake Bourque Ozolish AVS had some stud D for quite a few season (those 4 never played together but we're there at some point)

Makar, Byram, Timmons, Girard, Meloche with EJ and Cole is gonna be nasty sooner than later. I'm not necessarily counting on EJ and Cole in regard to lights out play, but they're still important moving forward. Like you said, lots of studs in the day, just never at the same time. Great GREAT time to be an Avs fan, finally.
