I'm stating the obvious, Drouin is being over valued when comparable players are nowhere near these proposals. Do you seriously believe he's worth more than Byram? Newhook/Zadorov is an overpay without Petry (AVs don't want anyways).

I never said he was worth more than Byran. I am saying that the proposal of Newhook + Zadorov for Petry and Drouin is a joke offer.

Drouin is off the table. The OP's proposal is terrible for the Habs.

How about something around Byram or Timmins+ for Domi. Domi could play on the wing and would be a absolute handful with Naz or he also has the speed to Keep up with Nate. Habs could then trade Petry at the deadline and get younger. Obviously depend how the Habs feel about Timmins

Byram is just not available, he has top line potential and future partner for Makar.

Timmins also has a huge upside, not sure if the Habs want him with the concussion history without the add for Domi. He seems to have recovered, but you never really know with this type of injury. Doubt the AVs would consider moving if his value is not higher.

If there is a deal, it’s likely surrounding Zadorov. A surplus LHD the Habs really need for a young forward/prospect/picks.

Habs have no need for Zadorov. We need a top pairing LHD. Not another #4-5
