We have seen many times especially this year Makar or Toews going all the way to the blue to defend against forwards carrying the puck and strip the puck from them. When they didn't succeed nothing came out of it because a forward was covering for them. In this case Colton didn't and that is why there was a high-danger scoring change which they capitalized on.Agree to disagree. But IMO you don't leave the slot area wide open to try and defend the point as a dman. Defend high danger area > lower danger area.
