Flash has two more today, bringing his total to 4. I've always liked him, but he's an enormous risk who looked real rough in his last two years in Florida. He's another guy whose career could simply end unannounced on any day.

Exactly like Eric Fehr and his glued on shoulders.

Er, no. Fehr had a bunch of shoulder surgeries right in a row early in his career. That sunk any ideas about him turning into something similar to what Max Pacioretty has, but he's still a Hell of a contributor.

Flash has Pascal Dupuis' problems, but worse. He could get on a flight, feel a twinge in his foot and that's the end of his career. If he ignores it, he could drop dead.

Nikita Zaitsev, kind of hoping the Pens are in the running but not being reported about being in the running, because if they can get the kid and waive Lovejoy and lose him for nothing, it might allow me to stomach the loss of Despres by getting a prospect like that...

Please hockey gods, don't let Plotnikov and Andersen be the only 2 Euro's JR was able to bring over.

I think Semin is already seeing consistent games scratched...

Uh yeah was thinking the same thing.

Semin scratched the last three games, only has three points (two in the same game) playing on the second line.

His replacement Paul Byron has three points, including two shorties in those three games.

MTL radio said that they wanted to scratch Semin after game five but they were winning so they didn't. As soon as they lost in Vancouver Semin was in the press box. They are also speculating he won't get back in unless someone gets hurt as Therrien does not like his effort one bit.

Dumb signing, but hey, its only 1.1 so who cares? ;)

With about a dozen games in, yes it looks good. But both have a history of looking good for a stretch and then doing their best Hide-And-Seek impersonation.

Both of them are on inexpensive contracts. At least try to acknowledge a decent signing when you see one.

It's funny, the two best goalies I have seen this year are both "Hf dogs". Marc Andre Fleury, and Corey Crawford. Obviously it's real early, and guys like the King and the Price, and others, might "out consistent" them. (both of those guys have been amazing as well) but with the games played, they definitely deserve props.

Both their teams, the Pens and Hawks would be in huge trouble without their keepers.

(Hawks went into the 3rd trailing the Kings, 2-1, now 3-2 Hawks with Kane, and Teravanien scoring. Kane with a super sweet assist on the latter goal)

Interesting to see the Kings playing Ehrhoff on their top PP over Doughty.

Seems Doughty stills earns his paycheck by playing half the game at ES and the universe doesn't implode.

Yikes. Ehrhoff may not get another contract. Directly responsible for 2 goals against while basically being hidden at ES.

Kane ***** on the Kings **** players.

He may not get a contract next year because he played 1 poor game in November?
