Tampa using its final CBO on Ryan Malone. If the Lightning wouldn't trade 28 and Malone to Buffalo to move down a few spots, I think we can give up the ghost of taking on a bad contract to get another 1st.

Yeah, no thanks. A guy with a wonky back wants max term--likely due in no small part to his injury history--and over $30m. I can't run away faster if I'm Murray.

I'd been really against giving Callahan 6 years but that term is pretty sweet. If Buffalo had given Callahan this deal it probably wouldn't have bothered me.

It will be interesting to see how the put their lines together going forward... is Stamkos going to stay at wing?
