Imagine he won and still gave it away. So we either finish 1st overall or near 15th? no 2nd overall or 3rd, etc?

Yup, that part of the lottery is done. The losing play-in teams will have a different lottery and the winner will finish 1st, LA 2nd, Ottawa 3rd, then so on down to 9th at which point the remaining losing play-in teams are ranked from lowest to highest by position in the league at close of play, which for us means 15th.

I really like how the Islanders look, they've slowly collected quite a few names I'd love to have on the Pens. Such a deep team and they're rolling four lines consistently. Only 5 minute difference between their top and bottom player in terms of TOI. They look built for playoff hockey.

But still, f*** Brassard for pouting in Pittsburgh and then showing up for them.

Playoff Phil scored at ES for the Yotes! Now, compare Zucker....

edit: guess they’re crediting it to Dvorak

Kessel was a transition sniper and has reinvented himself as a PP playmaking specialist. It has been a truly bizarre career.

Kessel was killing Malkin at 5v5. Kessel was also awful for the coyotes this year, only being able to show up in the playoffs becuase of a fluky situation with this virus.

I don't think Phil was the right fit for Malkin's line, I always wanted him to be with Sid's line which would have allowed for Phil's more lackadaisical approach to defense. Which is why he fit well with Bones and Hagelin.

You put him with Crosby and another responsible 2-way winger and he's a better fit. But it is what it is.

Flyers are creaming the B’s...granted a couple of the Bruins regulars are out and Halak is in goal, but the people who are doing the damage for the Flyers are not their stars like Giroux, Couts...the Flyers players have bought in to a defensively structured way to play even at the expense of their stats...again, it’s a lesson that Sid and G don’t want to learn, or they don’t want to implement...that’s the only reason the Flyers are doing so well and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the SCF..

Flyers look really good.
I have this feeling they could win it all. Imagine all the back and forth between the Pens/Flyers fans - “1975” would become “asterisk cup”

Of course I hope I’m just talking out of my behind and that does not even come close to happening. The annoying thing though, I don’t want the Caps or Bruins to win either. And the chance of 1 of those 3 winning is at least decent.

St.Louis, Boston, Washington, Philadelphia

Only teams I don't want winning it.

Would like to see Colorado if we can't win it
