Lafrenière is so rooting for Columbus tonight.

3/8 chances of playing with Sid/Geno, Drai/McD or Tavares/Matthews.

It’s awkward because watching this I keep thinking Columbus could do with a game breaker like that up front. Edmonton shouldn’t need it, Toronto doesn’t and the Pens need a young star to go with the others to extend the window.

These teams with young superstars cannot take the Pittsburgh/Chicago path.

Leaf fans: I AM SO MAD!!!!!

Leaf fans: I AM SO HAPPY!!!!

They don’t need Lafreniere at all...team that needs him the least...they’d have to get rid of a couple forwards just to play him regularly...

Did Leafs lose their 1st round pick? was conditional (top 10 protected) 1st round pick in 2020 from the Marleau deal to Carolina.

edit- Oh if they lose on a lottery pick Carolina gets their 1st round pick.

Watching all of these series’ this year and last, and it’s pretty obvious that the league is trending back to letting all kinds of obstruction and interference go.

yep, that’s why all these lower skill, grinding teams with solid goaltending are winning...
