Fair. Differing opinions I suppose.

Personally, I find the entire Bruins experience extremely stale. Hearing “Back in black” for the 1500th time doesn’t really rev the engine..but here’s a small market team where the fans are sticking around after the game having a great time with the players..that’s pretty cool to me. I hope they continue to push the limits and get the stuffiness out of the game.

And that my friend is what makes the world go round. It’s funny because when I go to a game I always say to myself if there were 17 thousand people like me there, it’d be very quiet and boring. But that’s me. I’m not a loud crazy fan but I can appreciate the people who do rev it up and make it fun. It’s just not me.

If they put one of those fan in the crowd cameras on me during a game I’d put everyone to sleep

It’s just how people are wired. Remember Mike Foligno? He used to drive Bruins fans nuts with his jump in the air whenever he scored. (And he did score some killers vs the B’s) If he was a Bruin people here would have loved him.

Orr was just a humble guy like Barry Sanders. Sanders would score a TD on a ridiculous run and then just flip the ball to a ref. It’s just how he and guys like Orr are. Either way, as long as you don’t show up an opponent it’s all fair game to me
That’s kind of where I’m at with this stuff. I always thought it said a lot more about a guy when he acts like he’s been there before.

Maybe I’m mildly irritated by the excess stuff though after watching the Steelers f*** up yet another season letting the inmates act like children. So ya lol

One thing I'm sure that we will all agree on, is that we absolutely love Hockey!

Not my kind of thing, but I totally have no problem with it from a team in a non-traditional hockey market. It isn't done to demean the other team. It is done to hype up and give appreciation to the fans. It's not done during the game. I love Don to death, but he went overboard in his analysis. I totally get that it might not be his thing, as it's not mine either, and I would not be happy if the Bs pulled those kind of antics. Thing is, people have different tastes. Some people may like wearing loud cheesy suits, while others may find them disrespectful and stupid. My favorite hockey player is Bobby Orr. My favorite basketball player is Larry Bird. My favorite football players are Barry Sanders and Herschel Walker. None of of those guys were known for showboating. Other people like flashy players. It's all cool since fans have different tastes and players have different personalities. Good on the Canes and their fans if that's how they like to celebrate. Doesn't bother me one iota how another team celebrates as long as it's not demeaning the other team.

Good thing there are a lot of teams in this league.

Haha yeah

but Spooner better try his best. He is on the brink to become an AHL lifer or go play in Europe

I don't know what happened. He always had inconsistency issues, until Cassidy kicked his butt last season and to play responsible two way hockey. Even lost some teeth

But after he got his money, I wonder if he just reverted back to sleep walking on the ice

Not doubting you, just interested to see the numbers.

Do you have a link.

No worries. Site: IcyData » Scoreboard

They started tracking penalties in 2010 - 11, i was counting them back in 2017. It was a lot of work actually.

I was wrong though, Pens and Habs share 1st place with 21 diving penalties; Carolina and Nashville - 17; Boston, Edmonton, Arizona - 16 and so on, Buffalo only had 4 - least of all teams.

St Louis could be the toughest game on this Bruins trip but Cassidy has decided to reward the team with an off day in Vegas on Thursday and then fly to St Louis on Friday.

Uh oh hope everyone hangs out together. Wouldn’t want to have to trade guys that don’t like casinos or are God forbid introverts
