At least one guy on the team has some fire in his belly. Good to see.

Another ugly night on the scoreboard.

The good: The leafs lost :yo:

The bad: Bolts get a point, flyers win, wings win, rangers win, and caps win

The ugly: Reverting back to old time senators hockey by giving up 40+ shots and hoping our goalies can save our butts.

At this point as we all know it'll take a miracle. The team has to pretty much run the table in epic fashion if there is to be any playoffs this year. That being said tomorrow we need the islanders, devils and wild to win to make it a perfect night on the scoreboard.

Not even adding a prime Gretzky could get us into the playoffs at this point. Just way too many problems with this team right now.

He was a 4th round pick, and we all know those players never turn out.

always trade 2 mid-late round picks for a rental even if you have less than 10% chance to make the playoffs. great job bm:nod:

I'm pretty annoyed we haven't added another European Scout after Forsberg left, considering how Melnyk wants us to build through the draft. Most of the top teams have 3+ scouts in Europe, but I guess we aren't a top team so that doesn't apply....

Also pretty amusing that we gave up on our own 4th round pick, Marcus Sorensen, who has finally started putting it together. Not saying he will become an NHLer, but he was always seen as a long-term project.

Kadri with another hit from behind

Well when all he gets as a response for Ceci is a few love taps and no penalty no wonder he does it again.

Funny how in 2012 Boyle was jumped, then had to fight Neil, then was nailed with an open ice hit which put him out of the game for facewashing Karlsson.

2 years later Kadri almost kills Ceci and we respond in weak fashion- turning point of our season that game where we had the lead and folded like a cheap tent IMO.

Nice to see the leafs collapsing down the stretch. Seeing them miss the playoffs after being in a playoff spot most of the season would help ease the pain of our season somewhat.
