Claim Mete, give him a Qualifying Offer, expose him to the Expansion Draft. If he's selected, doesn't really cost us anything. If he's not, he's a 22 year old Defenseman with 180+ games of NHL experience.

Grzelcyk & McAvoy haven't come close to replacing Krug's production on the power play, and that's one area Vatanen has always excelled in.
