Berube seems to have finally gotten the team to buy in with the defensive zone, not only are they limiting shots overall, but the high danger shots are down big time as well. they have some horses on that blue line that should have been keeping the shot suppression down the entire time. someone that follows them closer could comment, but that is very impressive.

I'm going to the Blues vs Maple leafs game next Tuesday so I'm glad they will atleast be exciting.

Several factors honestly. The back checking as a team has been phenomenal, they have utilized a flip pass through the middle along with the speedier players to create odd man breaks. Allen has been good on the road,while Binnington has just be great. Tarasenko has finally healed from the offseason shoulder surgery, Jbo from the hip surgery, and you are 100% dead on with the structure . Blues are getting 6,7,8,9 odd man rushes a game too...its crazy. They outshot the opponents in 19 straight until Sunday and drubbed NJ tonight.
