It's incredibly early but I hope Blashill isn't ending up like an overhyped AHL coach that didn't do well like Eakins.

The worst thing about their early season failure is that he has coached almost every player on that team the past few seasons and they should know the system.

He hasn't coached a good chunk of the vets on that team, who have been using Babcock's system for years.

Yeah, no. This place will become unbearable if/when Phil goes on one of his 2ppg hot streaks.

I hope Phil wins the Rocket, or doesn't.

I don't care what Phil does, he just wasn't right for the Leafs from day 1. That was just a mistake made by the GM the Leafs had to live with.

Pulkkinen, Tatar, Nyquist score as the Wings beat the Canucks.

the Buff does not like 3 on 3 - doesn't think it's hockey.

when asked if it should be a shootout, he just said keep it 5 on 5 , or 4on 4.
(so me thinks he just wants a tie).

let's just stop and think about this for a moment

Anaheim and the Leafs have the exact same record
but the Leafs - have 13 more goals.
Leo Komarov to date has more goals than Getzlaf, Perry and Kessler combined

just.. let that sink in for a moment

Honest to god I think those game 6 and game 7 losses to Chicago broke that group. I have a feeling that Getzlaf is slowly starting to question himself as a leader after that series.

They've looked timid, slow, and uninterested.

Anaheim needs to snap the **** out of it and put it behind them. They still have a stacked roster and Chicago/LA look the weakest they've been in a long time. This may finally be their shot to win the West and they're pissing it away with this uninspired hockey.

Fun fact - Leafs have scored as many goals as Ducks + Penguins so far this season
