Unless we keep RC the whole year, we're going to finish comfortably ahead of the Kings.

We have far more talent then them, and if they are without Quick for a long time....well the gap just widens.

On one hand this is good as it means BM can't go after one of them after RC is gone (and Kings are hiring a terrible coach), on the other hand it means one of them is still on the market....

Kings also hire Marco Sturm as their new assistant coach. McKenzie says both guys are working on an interim basis.

If I was a betting man, I'd put money on AV ending up in St. Louis. Just makes a ton of sense -- if AV is good at one thing, it's squeezing 110% out of an underperforming lineup of veteran players.

Sturm is definitely an interesting name. Looking forward to see how well he does in the NHL.
