Yeah he definitely didn’t see what he was swinging at. That sucks for all involved. Being a linesman in that gong show of a league has to be the absolute worst.

Sigh... ya me too, unfortunately. I really thought they were making their hay with Th opponents who tried to match them in a run and gun battle but the aisles are the exact opposite of that. They might actually win a round this year...

I watched that entire Leafs-Isles game, and NYI didn’t even get a sniff of a chance. It was like watching a special teams drill where the penalty kill guys immediately have to give the puck back to the power play guys in order to keep the drill moving.

In the limited games that Nic Roy has played in Vegas, he's looked really good. He may well be a permanent 3rd line fixture there by next year. That Haula trade seems like a win-win for both teams, expecially if the Borg can get Haula to sign to a reasonable extension.

Yeah, having it go to OT wasn’t good, but if the aim is to simply occupy a wildcard spot at the end of the year, Pittsburgh winning over Montreal is good for us. If we assume Washington and Pittsburgh occupy two of the Metro spots, that leaves us, NYI, Philly and CBJ to fight it out for the final Metro spot, and the rest to fight it out for the final WC spots, along with the likes of Florida, Tampa and possibly Montreal.
