At this point caps should see if they can resign Mantha cheaply, he's matured into a Victor Kozlov type player who gels really well with their rookies that they need to produce and take the next steps. He will always be looked down on because he's a mammoth who doesn't obliterate people but his neutral zone play, touches around the net, using size and reach for puck protection, high end give and go/timing play ability and occasional snipes have largely kept a team that could be right there with the Sharks in the playoff hunt this year
