More than anything I'm confused why Nygard is out. He's played well, to my eye. Really glad Chiasson is out though.

Don't think Nygard deserves to be cut. Also Kassian should be punted off 1RW immediately. Put Neal up there if you must and put Kassian in the press box for a game to get his head out of his ass. Nygard can play 3/4 LW.

Nygård has looked good in the limited time that he's received; the team overall, looks like it's more liable to push the momentum forward when he gets regular shifts

When you have trouble initiating a system, or having the buy in from your players, or having the wrong players for how you want to play, or flat out, just not having enough overall talent and depth, resort to plan E and play the trap.

they only played a couple times together last season before Nygard had an injury but I really liked the Nygard - Sheahan - Archibald line last season... So I’d like to see that line again with Turris replacing Sheahan.
