Not really surprising considering the NFL hasn't interviewed her yet. They probably figured they would hold off until interviewing her in the event her story had too many holes.
Hard to see anything new that could place him on the exempt list before the game. I believe the woman won't meet with the NFL until next week after getting married
No one has ever been put on the exempt list for a civil issue, if this was a criminal issue it would be a different case. It would be a dangerous precedent that I doubt the NFL wants to set to start putting people on the exempt list for civil matters.Yet Patriots fans will still claim the Pats are persecuted by the league.
Never understood the exempt list to begin with. It's innocent until proven guilty I thought? So a guy sits x amount games and then is deemed innocent, he just missed games for nothing basically.
Not talking about Brown specifically, just in general.

Not sure how reliable this guy is, but interesting if true.
He care way more about a joint than violence based on his track record.Goodell seems to have relaxed his archaic way of suspending players.
Thought for sure he'd do something here, only because he loves punishing players without evidence.
I mean if he was placed on it for a civil case we’d have every right to complain since there’s zero precedent for that
I don't think he is out of the woods just yet, sounds like the league wants to meet with the accuser first next week
Even then... who was the last player punished for a civil suit?
I don't know about civil cases but Josh Brown and Kareem Hunt both landed on the list without being charged criminally, it's possible he skates completely but ol' Rog has shown on several occasions that precedent means very little when handing out punishments
Even then... who was the last player punished for a civil suit?
Probably Ben with his first allegation.Who was the last player even involved in a civil suit?
