Awesome news. Definitely well earned. He's been a most welcome surprise this year. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Even today - signing GlenX would be my priority. He still has a few years left in the tank. And he likes Alberta!
And unlike Lander, we know that Glencross plays for the money.
I hope I never see Glencross in an Oilers jersey again.

Congratulations to Lander. One of the few bright spots in another dismal Oiler season.
If he keeps improving like this, who knows how good he could be.

Happy for Lander. He is a team first kinda guy and makes the team better for having him. Next step an A.

"45 minutes before the game started Jason Gregor broke the news that the numbers on Lander's contract had been erroneously reported earlier. That Cap Hit would is actually 1.237M with year 1 being 925k and year 2 being 1.55M."

Almost exactly what I expected / hoped for... $1.25K per season on a 2 year contract.

Not quite as jaw dropping awesome, but still a great contract provided Lander brings the level of play he's brought this year for the duration of the deal.

And hey... 8-2 loss, Lander with 16:48 of ice time, 52% FO 1 assist on +1. Not a bad stat line in a blow out loss lol.

Yup, pretty impressive. I didn't see the game but I assume he didn't have to face Kopitar or Carter, so that makes a pretty big difference right there.
Poor Nuge got slaughtered.
