Andy Greene is our MVP so far this season without a doubt. And I don't think it is even close.

Stevens to Niedermayer to Rafalski to Martin to Greene. Pretty remarkable with all the losses over the years but there's always someone that steps up. I'm missing guys like Whitey, Lukowich, and Mottau who had to take the lead at times too lol.

Now hopefully you guys believe me when I rave about a player. Even when Greene was not doing well a few years back you could see he had something special. I am glad it worked out and they didn't trade him away.

I still believe Greene is better than Martin, but that is just my opinion.

I always thought Greene had better offensive instincts than Martin, but was miles away defensively. These last 100+ games have had me thinking it's a lot closer.

Now I'm gonna say something that you guys will think me crazy for. I personally have always thought Greene looked like Parise sometimes around the net with his hands. I think if you converted Greene to a forward he would have the same success Parise did.

They are exactly the same size, same weight. Anyone else see the similarities?

I think you're coo-coo for cocoa-puffs. :sarcasm:

But seriously, I don't see ANY similarities.

But hey...if you do, more power to you.

Greene's next contract could hurt if he keeps playing like this.

Greene's shot is much better this year. None of his goals this year have been because his shot hit a leg or a body. Tonight's he basically deflected himself I guess.

He also gets into more higher percentage scoring areas as well. These aren't point shots. He probably would be a pretty good forward.
