Gauthier will hit a wall, just like every other rookie. He needs to have his minutes managed and not start at a top line level. Especially until the guy leading the team in goals who has amazing chemistry with those linemates shows he’s no longer performing.

Agreed, I think a properly sheltered "third scoring line" role is the ideal role for almost every rookie offensive F to get their feet wet.
