And one remains.
3 years x 2.675 is my guess
3 year deal assuming it gets consummated?
At least he'll come out a millionaire.
A girl, IMO.
It's gonna be around $3M per for 3 years. Much like expected - don't know why it takes this long.
I'd say much closer to 2M than 3, or even under 2. Doesn't have the numbers to make more than Kase.
Thank the lord. The Ducks have been lacking in the physicality department lately.
I read the title as they "close" on a deal, as in they finalise it, instead of that they are close on a deal.
I'll be surprised if Ritchie gets 3M at this point. ~25 point winger RFA's don't usually get that much.
Josh Anderson deal (3x 1.85) is a solid comparable, after a season when he had 17 goals and 29 points. Both guys bring that size.
Factor in cap going up and it'll probably be ~2M.
3 year 6 is alright.. i think hell trend up a bit
Please dont over pay him
I can't recall the Ducks ever considerably overpaying anyone on a second contract under this management.
he didn't refuse to play to end up singing at 1.85
And the Ducks didn't wait this long to give him what he wanted.
Granted, the injuries might've worked in Ritchie's favor, i guess we'll see.
FWIW Anderson held out for a good while as well.
but anderson is a 4th round pick 6 years ago and Ritchie a 10 overall 4 years ago he probably think he as a much higher ceiling
Finally fans of soft lineup teams like Toronto and Vancouver can stop with the trade proposals for a little
9 million dollars 3 years
Is there a huge push for teams to trade for this player? He's been a pretty big disappointment, imo.
There shouldn't be any way in hell Murray gives him anything more than 2.3
? Leafs have enough third line grinders. We got a much better one than Ritchie in Zach Hyman.
That's why Leafs fans nonstop are obsessed with getting Ritchie. You have the softest team in league history so it's understandable you want Ritchie and Manson
