yeah... no way in hell Murray gives him more than Kase. My guess is 3 years at 1.65. I have my frustrations with Murray but he's a damn wizard with RFA deals.
The word about the Ritchie situation was that the ducks wanted term. Cause Virtanen from the same draft class signed for 2 years at $1.25 per in the summer.
Ducks wanted a 3rd year for Ritchie which would cost more aav to get, but they wanted to lock him in and eat up 2 years of arbitration rights. So, I would expect Ritchie to land in the $1.6 average.
Figure the first 2 years are worth what Virtanen got so that would make the 3rd year worth (3@$1.6 = $4.8 less $2.5 so $2.3 million).
