Drai needs to be better. Smith was good. The oilers faced adversity early on, hopfully they take this on a roll to start the season.

Take the points but man was that a slopfest. For some reason, the Oilers always look like skidmarks against a healthy Vancouver team.
The top players were still in preseason mode, top pairing and McDrai. I'm sure they'll be better next game, can't be much worse.

McDavid was mediocre and Draisaitl was just pure garbage.

So, to get a win under those conditions is pretty good. The new additions in forward looked magnificent.
