MASSACHUSETTS DASHBOARD

This is a trying time for all of us no matter where you live.

Right now politics should be set aside. We all have government leaders at the Federal and State/Provincial levels telling us what we must do to get through this.

Adhere to the rules below regarding discussion that is political in nature or you will be warned and permanently removed from this series of threads.

Considering we are relaxing forum rules regarding political discussion, what steps "over the line" is completely at the discretion of the moderation team. Examples of what constitutes appropriate discourse are listed below. When in doubt, don't post it.

UPDATED 4/30 - Compounding this is the Boston area and Massachusetts have been hit harder than most areas and local media and local officials have been blunt over the mixed signals coming from Washington.

UPDATED 5/8 - General Flynn is OFF TOPIC

One thing is clear - Boston and Massachusetts will be among the last areas to even attempt a reopening.

Do not wish harm or infection on members of the public, including the press, be it an individual or network/outlet/newspaper, etc.

It is becoming apparent that threadbans/infractions aren't enough for some people. The next step is a forum ban until hockey season starts.
***
We are going to follow similar rules for this thread that exist in the COVID-19 forum.

You may critique the response of government but don't make it political.

Posts attributing motives because it involves this or that political party/politician/ideology will not be tolerated.

Examples:

Allowed: "Trump doesn't know what he's doing, the response was too little too late"

Not Allowed: "The only reason the response was so slow was to keep the stock prices high so he can get reelected"

Allowed: "The media is over-reporting this and it's going to make things worse"

Not Allowed: "The liberal media is over-reporting this because they're trying to bring down Trump"

Miracle cures, home remedies, and medical advice should not be posted.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Macomb County woman allegedly attacked a Nino Salvaggio's employee and then spit on police officers after she refused to wear a mask inside the grocery store.

The 33-year-old Roseville woman allegedly entered the store in St. Clair Shores on April 26. An employee asked the suspect to leave as she was not wearing a mask.

Raimondo orders all R.I. residents to wear masks in public; coronavirus deaths up to 355 - The Boston Globe

PROVIDENCE - With “phase one” of Governor Gina Raimondo’s plan to reopen Rhode Island’s economy set to begin this weekend, Raimondo announced Tuesday that she will sign an executive order requiring all residents to wear a mask whenever they are in public.

The order, which will take effect Friday, expands on an existing policy that requires employees at “customer-facing” businesses to wear masks. Raimondo has previously urged all resident to wear masks in public, but the policy was not considered mandatory.

For the first time her daily press conferences started two months ago, Raimondo wore a mask herself before removing it to begin speaking. She said that rather than asking questions about the new policy or searching for reasons to not wear a mask, residents should follow a simple mantra:

“Don’t leave your house without a face mask,” she said. It’s unclear if fines will be issued for people who violate the order.

Well I’d say if you believe in our country, our country voted for this guy. I know liberal land doesn’t like him, nor any republican for that matter, but major parts of the country do.

I personally don’t like him, but we do have a system in place and clearly many people did like him. Is what it is right?

The writers of the constitution never envisioned that narcissist could be elected president in a fair election. You can't write a constitution that can protect the country from this type of person, The only option is to impeach He was impeached but republican senate refused to hear the evidence.

Also it wasn't a fair election . He called for the intervention of a foreign government and got it

people are angry

Now he's in charge of guiding this country through a pandemic and he has miserably failed. He concealed the evidence of a impending pandemic from the citizens for months
