so i am still reading thru the bill proposed by the democrats and on page 135 there is a salary and expense increase for the house of representatives. Are you kidding me you are putting in a raise for yourself during the time when all of america needs help.
Never in my life would I think politicians would take advantage of citizens. I mean none of them are well known crooks.

agree. i get teased a lot at work and by friends because I like to be prepared. guess how many calls and texts i have received asking if they can "borrow" stuff from me now. Sorry people I plan ahead so my family will be okay in case of emergency or financial need.

I have guns, TP and a stocked freezer and its all for me and my family.

TP and stocked freezer I "get". Not sure I understand what the need for guns are under the circumstances because if it comes to "needing guns" to get out of this thing we are talking about Armageddon / Collapse of civilization as we know it... ?

I didn't prep for this specific situation. I prep for many possible situations plus i also hunt. The post i replied to mentioned TP, guns and freezer so i was responding that i had all three well ahead of time. But i do agree with you that guns should not be needed for this situation at all.

The spending allocations of this bill are totally nuts. Talk about a fat pig of a bill... No wonder markets are up today - there is casino chips being sent to every room in the building with an IOU that no-one is thinking about. Crazy....

I'ts sad the amount of "friends" I have made this past week from neighbors and coworkers that knew me before this all went down. BTW, they ain't looking for TP...

If people have no money, desperate for food, they will do what they have to to get food.
People will need to defend themselves.

Better to have something and not need it than need something and not have it

I live in the city. We have no stars.

It was rough at work and home.

It is so hard not to be upset that my sister doesn’t get to have the graduation ceremony she deserves. She went through hell to get her PhD and to not see her walk across the stage is a tough pill to swallow.
its a tough time. I took a couple days off this week from work and i tell you. avoiding this specific thread and all news reports works wonders.
you just have to remember all youre hearing or reading right now is negative news. thats why i try and stay away fom that stuff. it works.

It's vague as to what it's for, but here we go anyway.

This what I don’t get.

Somehow millennials are acting irresponsibly but the guy at the top is being unfairly criticized? And the guy at the top holds massive power.

My head is spinning.

I think those kids were Gen Z or at least right on the line. Millennials have mortgages, kids, back pain, and our favorite songs are “classics” :help:

I hate it.
