last year the pulled this ridiculous Herbert Meltzer driver to honor Dave's dad.

Excited for the build to Omega-Ishii in Hiroshima on the 15th. I see they've added Taguchi and Fin-Juice in the 6-man NEVER tag title match on that card as well.

Taichi will face Goto in Beppu on the 17th for the NEVER belt.

Each of the Destruction shows have a couple main attraction matches so those should be fun. Probably won't know much more about the Long Beach show until that tour is done.

Hangman/Janela and 6-Man were better live; Omega/Pentagon was better on TV. From the stands, we couldn’t tell that the referee was rushing the finish and it was less obvious that everyone bailed the ring before the Meltzer Driver. TV also didn’t do the Cracker Barrel spot justice.

From being in the 100s section at All In to being front-row the next night at Warrior Wrestling, Pentagon needs to be seen up close (or on TV) for full effect. It’s not that he doesn’t project; his eyes do a lot of work.

Pentagon has tremendous presence. He looks like a crazy person who will legit kick your ass.

Yup. But at least it makes (wrestling) sense in that it's an assisted pile driver (even if it can look bad some times). It's not like Del Rio's tree-of-woe stomp, that doesn't even make wrestling sense at all.

But Corbin's self Rock Bottom is probably my fav for things like this still.

I just think the "assist" part looks stupid because essentially who ever does the spring board barely "assists", touches the opponent. It is just a regular tombstone with a guy doing a flip in front of it but not touching the guy getting tombstoned.

They should of one uped it and made it a springboard assisted sunset flip canadian destroyer

Believe that's kind of the point of it. The initial move was just a springboard to aid in a piledriver. Then I believe Meltzer complained about something so they added a flip into the move and renamed it the Meltzer Driver ("for 5 stars"). Supposed to be nonsensical.

Problem for me is the assist part doesn't touch the opponent. It looks bad and they should of realized it and came up with something else. Its just to hokey for me.

theres also the part where nobody likes anything the young bucks do. so im not gonna convince anyone why i like the move.

Penta and Fenix destroyed the MLW contracts at last night shows.
MLW on a tweet, thanked them and said something along " fans will be pleased with what's NXT!"

many spanish pages are reporting is a done deal for Penta in WWE. but i wouldnt say there are legit sources. (as in i just dont know)

Haha, got it Day 1. I’ll gladly put $10 a month into that company even though I have the DVDs. I’ve used the web browser so far (on the road, so I haven’t seen the Roku app). Functions like a playlist. No hiccups.

If anyone is looking to give it a go just to see what it’s like, #29-48 is the Golden Era of Shimmer, so it’s a good jumping in point. #44 is the culmination of a huge arc that essentially begins in #29, but they sprinkle in recaps prior to big matches on every volume.
