It seems like Mike Locksley is the heavy favorite at Maryland. The whole program has been obsessed with him for years.

We'll see what happens, I just want them to hire a solid coach.

My buddy who played at Maryland actually played with Kevin Plank, although he was a couple of years younger, and the hope/plan was to turn Maryland into an Oregon East. So far the results just haven't been there.

Mack receiving backlash on Robinson and might not hire him now. Mack needs to hire younger coaches and not retreads like Robinson or Tim Brewster.

Robinson was terrible as a DC with Michigan & Texas years ago & has been out of the game completely since 2015 when he was last with San Jose State. He’s 67 years old.

A guy like Gene Chizik like it was intially rumored would be a good hire. But perhaps he just wants to stay at ESPN. He probably can’t get a job anywhere in the P5 as head coach again so his coaching career appears to be capped out as a DC in the P5.
