If true, you have to think Tavares is impressed with DW's track record here.

Other than hometown and an amazing core of young fwds, the Leafs will struggle creating a balanced lineup. Maybe they get lucky like the Pens did in having a subpar D and G but that doesn't sound like a winning strategy.
