I like the Hawks as a second team to my Avs but some of these trades have been awful.

Last season, Jones. Now the return is just terrible for DeBrincat. Avs need to send Girard to the EC so DeBrincat will have a regular sparring partner. (JK, I'm fine with Girard).

My only takeaway is that Davidson has to have a prospect available at 7th that he loves. This is the only way this trade makes sense.

He doesn't even know if that guy will be there at seven. I try not to overreact and stay level headed.

This is an awful trade if this is all that's coming back.

There's always the hope for a stud blueliner instead.
