Strome gets 3 years 15.8m for an AAV of 5.26m. They make a combined 35m. Now it's a nice round number.

I honestly have to say the odds are high that Bowman is also negotiating with Strome right now. He wants the two big RFAs locked up to prevent the holdouts and drama that a bunch of teams have gone through this offseason. IMO at least.

If Dach and Boqvist contracts slide this year, then DeBrincat/Dach/Boqvist will all be lined up to expire with the end of the Toews and Kane contracts.

There could be a pretty smooth handoff to the next era of this franchise.

I agree, Cat was priority #1 and now Strome is priority #1..but with tagging rules not sure if we can even sign Strome right now, though too lazy to look at the contracts we have in place for next year and if we can even do it yet..

That's a good bridge deal. Expires with Toews, Kane and Keith while still being RFA.
If Strome accepts 3 years it'll be interesting in 4 years.
