Haven't ever been this excited for Albany. I feel like maybe this could be their year. What's their lineup looking like? I'll give it my best shot.

1. Boucher
2. Blandisi
3. Zacha
4. Sislo
5. O'Neill
6. Lappin
7. Lorito
8. O'Brien
9. Thompson
10. Pelley
11. Pietila
12. Novak

Extra: Kujawinski, Thomson, Black, Johnson, Coleman, Leblond, McKelvie

1. Severson
2. Helgeson
3. Mozik
4. Hrabarenka
5. Kelly
6. Gragnani

Extra: Scarlett, Burlon, McPherson, Geiger

1. Wedgewood
2. Danis

Extra: Appleby

Thats a damn good team. I would love to go up to Albany for a game if they go deep.

If those 12 players that I listed are indeed the players being dressed, I would wanna see:

Boucher - Zacha - O'Neill
Lappin - Blandisi - Sislo
Lorito - O'Brien - Thompson
Pietila - Pelley - Novak

Then on D:

Helgeson - Severson
Gragnani - Mozik
Kelly - Hrabarenka

that would be insane. that top 6 is amazing (by ahl standards). that's like 2 1st lines, and that 2nd line is no joke either. talk about interchangeable gears for the top 9@

Really exciting to have a team that could go on a deep playoff run. Not sure if this question is allowed but does anyone know if there is a way to watch Albany games online?

From the other thread:

You have prospects like Ben Johnson and Kujawinski who have stepped up their game in the absence of guys like Boucher, Blandisi, and Sislo. Then all of these prospects are going to come down off the NHL team and probably push them out of the line-up.

Lorito - Blandisi - Sislo
Boucher - Zacha - O'Neill
Pietila - O'Brien - Thompson
Thomson - Pelley - McKelvie
Kujawinski - Black - Lappin
PL3 - Johnson - Novak
xxxxx- Rooney - Mingioa

Just to note, Thomson - Pelley - McKelvie has been the go-to fourth line for the entire year. McKelvie is also one of the assistant captains too in Albany so regardless of the overload of forwards we have, I don't see that line changing. On defense it isn't much better:

LD: Burlon, Helgeson, Gragnani, Geiger, Kelly (unsure of his health)
RD: Severson, Hrabarenka, Scarlett, McPherson, Faust

I guess it is good to have depth, but some of that seems excessive.

Are these games usually on TV, or streamed? I'd love to watch their run all the way through

Kowalsky likes Novak but I would play Kuja or Thomson over him in the playoffs.

Kelly is still injured, his playoff status is still in question.
Burlon will not be healthy scratched.

McKelvie had a setback with his injury and will be out to start the playoffs.oHe would be in the 4th line if healthy for his experience and toughness.

Zacha won't get into any games. We need to get through a round or two. We have too much other depth

I'd like to see something like:

Boucher - Blandisi - Sislo
Lorito - Zacha - Thompson

Pietila - Pelley - Novak
Extra(s):
Thomson, Kujawinski, Black, Johnson, PL3 (McKelvie & Coleman are injured)

Burlon - Severson
Gragnani - Mozik
Helgeson - Scarlett
Extra(s):
Hrabarenka, McPherson (Kelly is injured)

Wedgewood
Danis

One could say that this team is stacked. Hopefully they go far. Finally a well built AHL team for this franchise.

Zippy316's lines look good, nicely balanced IMO.

I think Lappin should be in the top 6

why wouldn't he? what's the point of bringing him down? i wonder if they'll shuffle after a few games in order to keep people well rested for a deep playoff run and substitute when needed

Over who? I don't get this infatuation with Lappin. He's not playing over Sislo, O'Neill, or Thompson. If McKelvie is in, he's the defacto 4RW. I guess there is a chance that O'Neill shifts to LW while McKelvie is out pushing Pietila to 4RW.

Lorito - Blandisi - Sislo
O'Neill - O'Brien - Lappin
Boucher - Zacha - Thompson
Thomson - Pelley - Pietila

I wouldn't really get too caught up in Albany's top nine. They are going to essentially have 3 first lines.

literally what are you talking about?

Zacha is already the most talented player in Albany. he will play in the top 6, I'm almost certain of it.

I really wanna see how Zacha looks against grown men. Anyone know the best place to find these games live? I've seen plenty of highlights but no full games this year.

McKelvie is in the same position as Kelly; coming back from injury and some way from ready. Lappin could be back this weekend and will play that wing, potentially into the playoffs, future injuries permitting.

I said it in the other thread. Kowalski knows what he is doing and it will be really good for some of our more important prospects to potentially get a deep playoff run into their system.

I much rather Zacha, blender, Boosh and Severson to keep playing hockey.
