Is Kirill Petrov still only earning 4th line minutes? :help:

1.That's a pre-season lineup.

2.What about the minutes? He always earned exactly the minutes he deserved with AkBars. He was playing on the 2nd line for quite some time now.

3.It's a bit strange to hear things like this. I as a fan know our players fairly well. Kirill Petrov is a good power forward with huge vision issues. He's very effective at the boards and around the net, but god forbid you have him with the puck on the rush. He honestly earned his 2nd line spot, playing the best suited role for him on a line with creative players with some vision, wrecking some havoc around the net and finishing the plays. Right now we have a stacked forward group with some very valuable additions I hope. Obviously Möller is a good choice to fill Stapleton's spot on the Burmistrov line. There is whole line of newly acquired players and it looks very good. It's also an obvious choice to put the new guys together and leave the other lines intact at least for now. In this pre-season game Svitov and Pesonen sat out. Those are very probable linemates for Petrov with Svitov replacing Terschenko.

As expected a Pesonen-Svitov-Petrov line today. Nilsson looks shaky at times.
