Vejdemo now with 10 points in his last 11 games.

Evans with 6 points in his last 8 games.

Since the departures of Chaput and Froese, as well as Agostino's, a lot has been put on the rookies's shoulders as the 1C & 2C of the team. They've answered the bell.

Although still far from being a reality, Laval now 7 pts from the 4th and final playoff spot.

We can pretty much put Rochester, Syracuse, and Toronto in the playoffs. That would leave only the 4th place spot up for grabs.

Utica holds that spot right now. But Cleveland and Belleville stand between them and Laval. But you never know. Something to motivate the team, trying to achieve the improbable while also spoiling everyone else's hunt.

with just 15 games left it's too bad that they weren't able to get closer or get some offensive help a few weeks ago.

pretty impressive what Fleury is doing, at 19 his stats are similar to Lamarche, Lernout, Ouellet... which are all much older

he's in his age 20 season. But yes he's having a good year, he needs to improve his defensive play but there's a lot to like about his game. He's got the physical tools you want, NHL size, skating, speed, mobility. He's got a good physical game, I think Sklenicka's is better but he's got the puck moving, big shot that Sklenicka doesn't have. If he can improve his defensive play he should be a lock to be an NHLer in time.
