Not a bad period. Laval had their chances. But I found that Laval was chasing the puck more than controlling it.

Beautiful lob from Belzile to Evans while the Rocket was on the PK, in the closing minute of the first period. Allowed Evans to make a rush to the opposing net. It initially just looked like an innocent play originating from the Rocket D-zone.

Belzile and Evans are also the only Rocket point getters so far.
