Another question...

Would you guys be interested in adding a couple games to our pool?

For instance:

Say

Just for the first 4 games..

We could all guess who scores first goal in:

Denmark vs Russia
Finland vs USA
Sweden vs Czech Republic
Canada vs Slovakia

Each team would make 4 picks, there is no order or draft, and people can pick the same players.
For example 6 of us could pick McDavid in the Canada/Slovakia game

Each guess gets 1 extra point. So if you got the right scorer right in each 4 games you get 4 extra points.


Totally up to you guys, I was just trying to think of ways to make this pool a bit different. Let me know what you think.

I obviously wouldn't do this unless all were aboard.

As for the extra prediction thing, it's your pool, your choice but seems sort of tacky to me, I'd rather not

Though I don't really want to add any extras to the pool that we've already done, I was thinking about some alternative pools that I could set up. One of the ones that came to mind was the thing TSN had last year, but doesn't seem to be doing this year, which is the tournament prediction game. You pick the winners of each of the different games with the tougher to predict playoff round being worth more points. The person that predicts the most points for picking the winners takes the prize. Thoughts?
