What are your expectations for this year? Will he be a top six winger or will the coach keep him on a 3rd line with Skinner due to chemistry they were developing last year? Will he play much center or stay on the wing? Can he make it through the season without significant injuries? Will he make just subtle progress this season or will he break-out?

DISCUSS!

Mid 30's is my upper limit guess. I'm not of the belief he has 1st line potential. He'll be a good player but I don't think he'll ever hit 70 or so points. Note, I understand some of you all have different definitions of what constitutes a 1st line player.

Depends entirely on whether he's in the top 6 or they force him to play center. I don't think he's ready to play center, but he looked pretty good at times on the wing. I'm expecting right around 40 for him this year.

I don't think he'll play much center this year, unless there is either an injury to Eric or Jordan. While I won't say there are good options, there are too many options for a 3C (Nash, Malone, Mcclement, Rask) that can fill a hole without creating another short term, and putting Lindholm as a 3C on a non-scoring line would definitely create another.

I feel that the coach will start off with Lindholm and Skinner on a line, whether that be the first line or 3rd line due to the chemistry they showed together and developing them as a tandem long term for the team. If he stays healthy, I would expect about 15g, 20-25A. Maybe an upside if the Canes can develop any sort of consistency on the PP. I don't expect a huge breakout, just continuous improvement over where he was at the end of last season.

Don't care where or how, but I want to see Skinner and Lindholm playing as much as possible together.

I wanted 35-45 but this poll is broken so I put 40-50.

 Yeah, going in 10 goal intervals leaves a lot of wiggle room and doesn't fit every player, but I'm going to summarize all the players point projections when I've gone through the entire team and didn't want to have to deal with too much info.

I've only gotten the chance to watch one Canes game this season. How has he looked so far?

He struggled mightily early on, particularly with turnovers. It was looking kind of scary in October.

The past three games have been much better. He's showing his strength in the dirty areas and grinding out points.

So a mixed bag overall, but he's trending in the right direction.

He definitely wasn't super confident offensively early on, and a mixed bag overall, but there were signs of some good things in his game. You could see his strength and tenacity a lot early on compared to last year, it just wasn't leading to much of anything. These last few games were more of what I was expecting of him. It's going to be all about consistency as it is with most young players.
