I wasn't aware of this, but I was watching Behind the Battle, the Jackets documentary about the 2013 draft, but on the draft floor DW called the Jackets and offered the 20th pick,2 2nd round picks and a 4th for the #14 pick.

Wow.

I really hope that's not true

or Mueller, and he was still able to get him at 18.

Ok, at first he offered #20 + 2nd + 2014 3rd for #14, was rejected then offered #20 + 2nd + 2nd + 4th

Interesting that Jarmo notes even the value chart says the first deal is good, yet still goes against it.

Edit: we didn't have CBJ's 4th so it must have been going to SJ instead in the 2nd offer
