I think that TB might be playing to the hometown crowd. People get bummed if there isn't enough star power, but the road team doesn't really matter. They get Svechnikov, they get TVR. What more could they ever ask for?

I'd expect the script to be flipped tomorrow in Carolina. From an evaluation standpoint, it also makes sense. A bunch of randos on both teams don't really represent NHL quality competition, but even if they struggle against an opponent, their team can see how well they do.
