Eric Lindros' father Carl was a hockey player himself, He was invited to a Chicago Blackhawks training camp. And Carl Lindros also played a season for the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL.

Honestly?

What the hell does this have to do with Lindros? The one above it as well. If you fill the 365 days up with these "accomplishments" I will not be impressed.

Yeah, honestly.

What does it have to do with him? It's his Dad for starters....

And I never said it's 365 days of accomplishments. I said 88 days of Eric Lindros stories. Was dared to do 365... so ok.

365 Eric Lindros stories.

I mean, I could do 865 if you want pure accomplihsments. That's his point total.
But it'd be absurd for anyone to expect me to write up a story for every point in his career.

So what's your problem?

Boston's Joltin Joe Thornton thinks he can hand in with Eric Lindros - only to have his orbital bone shattered by Lindros.
Matthew Barnaby has since said as an analyst on The Score, that he was fighting himself, but he heard it, it the sound still haunts him. "It was like someone punching an empty pumpkin, it cracked and smashed, I remembered I was in a fight, hoping that never happened to me"

and later said, in the dressing room Lindros felt horrible, sat there quiet the entire intermission before saying "I think I broke something"... The trainers went to him and he was all "not me, on him".

The video of Lindros breaking Thornton's face

And I love my boy Lindros, but dead serious last Friday I was boozing it up with a couple friends, and talking the bloody mess Koci ended up fighting Chara. And out of nowhere this guy was all "Remember when Lindros punched out Thornton's face?"

And I knew I wasn't just a homer at that moment.

Eric Lindros is dating Kiera Knightley, who is more famous for her role in Pirates of the Carribean trilogy. This is not his first Hollywood girlfriend, he's famously known for dating Kate Hudson, Aisha Tyler and snowboarder Kristi Leskinen:

That's not even true.

Keira Knightley is engaged to Rupert Friend, they've been dating for years. They live in London, England together. I've seen pictures of them together as recently as a few weeks ago. She probably doesn't even know who Eric Lindros even is.

Here they are in late September:

Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson split up in late 2006, and she began dating Owen Wilson almost immediately. That relationship ended in the summer, so I don't know where she found the time to hook up with Eric.

I don't know enough about Aisha Tyler to call bull on that one, but that's probably been pulled out of someone's (your?) ass as well.

What a lame attempt to make him look like some sort of Hollywood playboy.

Why are you wasting your time replying if you don't like the topic? Stay the **** away and stop ruining it for those that are enjoying it.

I love you Duke, I considered myself the biggest Lindros fan but you are like 1000 times better. And in response to the guy who said stuff about the jerseys, I have Lindros' following jerseys: Team Canada 96 World Cup and 02 Olympics, Black Philly, Rangers, Leafs, and 97 All Star.

Eric Lindros is the only NHLer to be portrayed by an actor in a movie, while he was still active as a player. (Not a player making a cameo, etc...)

Who told you that? Lots of actors portrayed active Pittsburgh Penguin skaters in "Sudden Death".

Some of these accomplishments are neat to read about, some of the others...not so good. Eventually it'll be "364/365 Eric Lindros is the only NHL player to have both the names Eric and Lindros in his name"

What about Jonathon Lindros Erickson, he played three games for the Montreal Maroons in 1928. Or does he not count because of the kson attached to Eric?

Please stop this thread! Eric Lindros has not been relevant in the NHL in 5 seasons. He NEVER warranted 88 things said about him, unless 84 of them were bad things, and he's just another retired NHL player now. Please, just stop with the hero worship of this "player", or I will be forced to do "99 days of Wayne Gretzky" followed by "77 days of Phil Esposito and Paul Coffey and Ray Bourque" (and not all together as one thread), "88 days of Ken Hodge", "99 days of Wilf Paimont", "91 days of Sergei Fedorov" (now THAT could be interesting, with Anna Pornakova in there!), etc.

Please stop. Now

Wouldnt another option be to not read the thread?
