Don't get me wrong -- like I said, I think Manning stinks & I only want him as a 7.

But I also think it's beyond ridiculous to pay Schenn, Grossmann, and MacD -- who are lousy 3rd pairing defenseman -- over $3M a pop.

I want Ghost, Morin, and Sanheim all on the team next season. I know it won't happen, but the idea that vets don't make mistakes is a crock (see: Grossmann today) and at least these kids have actual talent.

A guy in the Art Ross race all year play 1:30-2:00 minutes less a night than any other player on a similar pace around the league.

Giroux playing 1 minute less than under Laviolette.

Couturier playing close to a minute less than last season.

20 goal Raffl getting 14 mins a night.

All so our 4th line can get more TOI.
