Team has been a pleasant surprise.. How anyone could be pissed seeing TK, Provy and Hart be key components to early success is mind boggling..... Same with TDA who has been fantastic.... the lack of talent means this will end sooner than later..... but its been a hard schedule and they are holding their own ...... Proud of Wade....he's been great and deserves more ice time...Provy has been a beast.... haters on this site must be cringing.....don't worry will be sh** shortly and then you can dump on every player except Sanheim, JVR and Frost again.... happy days will soon be here for that contingent on the site

Obviously, most of the people commenting didn't actually watch the game.

It was the best game they've played all season. Sure they struggled at times, they're out numbered against any playoff caliber team.
Hart really didn't carry them, some good stops at the end of the game, but the first goal was a softie and the third goal he went down too quickly and gave Necas the top of the net from the top of the circle.

Their best line was Deslauriers - Sedlak - Allison, now not sure they'd look that good playing 12-14 minutes, but they need more ice time. Sedlak especially, he's gotten better each game, the time in the KHL seemed to improve his offensive skills, he can skate and hold his own physically, but that play on Allison's goal was grit and skill. Deslauriers is sheltered, but within that limited use has been quietly efficient.

MacEwen struggles at time, but brings a lot of energy and physical play to the forecheck.
Frost was MIA again.
Tippett made a spectacular play to shut down a breakaway, the boy has wheels, he's smooth carrying the puck, his advantage over Frost is he's just as fast and elusive carrying the puck on entries, but a lot bigger and stronger.
Hayes and Laughton made some plays but struggled at times, problem is they're a 2C and 4C/2LW forced to play 1C and 2C.
Probably the best Farabee has looked this season, getting his game legs under him.
Bellows was hard to notice, first game with a new team, give him a mulligan for a week or two, after that . . .

TDA and Provorov are starting to click, but Risto look lost right now, Sanheim - Risto was an awful pairing..

Provy looked more like a lost kitten in OT.

I’m certainly not satisfied with that screed of misinformation. Provy and TD were a defensive mess.

Know who was actually MIA despite getting hosed down with unearned ice time and playing with quality line mates - Noah Cates.

Square peg round hole . Cates has never been a point producer , but somehow we are going to force him into that role and it will work . I have heard enough crap on here that Minn Duluth was not an offensive team and was the reason for his low point totals . Cates was 3rd to 6th in scoring on his low scoring team and he went in after his draft plus two year. He is not a F ing point producer .

That being said he is a good penalty killer , defensively sound responsible player , ideal for 3 -4 line LW spot , penalty kill and put out late in games when we have the lead .

Torts is about as dumb as some people on here thinking he can force him into an offensive role and it will work . He has 5 shots on goal playing close to 19 mins a game in 8 games in prime mins .

Remember , I like the player in a role he is suited for but producing points ain't the role .

They will assuredly make him a point producer. Just like frost is a checking line center.

Man, it's interesting to see who is doing what on this weird ass team. I hate MacEwen but he's playing like less of a total moron and using that energy to better use, but the PP deployment is insane.

Konecny looks like the best player on either team most nights.

Provorov is defensively looking better but still can't figure out how to field or break out a puck a lot of the time.

Hayes seems like he would be in the press box if they had literally any other NHL centers. Instead he plays 22 minutes a night.

Frost just isn't getting the minutes he needs to figure shit out. He kinda alternates great shift/bad shift in the little time he gets, which probably isn't enough to build on the great shifts.

Sedlak made...a number of nice plays?

What a weird f***ing team. My great fear is that Fletcher takes this start as a sign that there's something there and goes and spends more assets to "fix" their center problem. Woof.
