From what I can tell the Disney+ launch has been a disaster.

I’ve been waiting two hours for an email regarding a code I need to input. Looks like a ton of people are having that same issue along with others.
I downloaded the phone app to test it out. I tried to log in but I hadn't even set up a password so I sent a password change request. I got the code immediately, entered it, made a password and was good to go. I guess everyone should try to Change Password to skip whatever the problem is.

Looks like I am moving back to the UK "full-time" for a while. Not sure if ~6 months or a year. Been in-between the last few months anyway doing remote work.

Not sure how to feel to be honest, slightly mixed.

Nice opportunity and a job I know I will really enjoy heading up a sports inclusion team across a Uni sports programme - one of the few Unis that really specialises in sports here - for a sports project. But wages are not as good in the UK even for a role that on paper is more senior, and I do prefer mainland Europe.

On the plus side super flexible, really varied role where I get to do a lot of different things, great sports facilities that are pretty new and expensive, and I am in charge of the project as opposed to basically being a utility player who cleaned stuff up, helped on different things, coordinated parts of projects etc.

Will need to work on my French while there. As have a feeling Switzerland or Belgium might be my next stop in a year or two. My reading is okay-ish, my comprehension is 50:50, and my writing with some time is grammatically incorrect but understandable enough even if have to write around things a bit too much! But my speaking is horrific.

I’m not big on Star Wars but I’ve always liked boba fett, and the mandalorians. I enjoyed the first episode but I’m not too happy that it’s a weekly release.

10 days until I am back in the UK. Taking advantage of family accommodation before they move back to Canada around Christmas.

My wife has never been to London, which is my favourite city that I have visited. Looking forward to early Christmas season in London with our toddler, too.

I think if we all work very hard, we can make this the most obsequious and most oppressive thread ever. Let's do it.

FOR FASCISM!

Because i'm a Star Wars nerd, looks like this is going to head towards them attempting to clone "Baby Yoda" because the Doctor was wearing an emblem that is tied to the cloners in Kamino.

Tell me we're going to get a Fett or Fett Clone Vs. Mando.

Also, are they going to use these clones to tie Palpatine into it? So that they can either revive him with the power of the yoda's or cloning him.

Fortunately we get to watch two episodes this week (Episode 2 is available to stream on Friday).

I didn't go right for The Mandalorian and will watch that the next non-hockey night. I watched Jeff Goldblum (@Captain Dave Poulin :P ) while playing a game on my phone and then the first episode of Imagineers because they have a dream job of mine.

He seems like the kind of guy who would play a bassoon. In a bathtub. On the lawn.
