1-0 game entering the third.

Hakstol goes shell-mode.

CBJ tie it with less than 2 minutes left.

OT.

We win with a Couturier goal.

If Seth Jones is still out, this is feasible. If not ( and I'm in fantasy hockey finals, so I hope not), this isnt.

It's a 4 2 game with linblom finally getting his first and Jones with a g and a.

Huge game.
If this turns out a loss we are soon looking at the lower WC seed again :(

Doesn't matter who is in or out for the other team at this stage of the season. Good teams are rolling now. Flyers need to take care of their own business.

Here’s the thing...

You can’t judge this team on a low of losing whatever it was, 6/7. You can’t judge the jackets on winning 5 straight or after we got points in 12 straight and had a division spot. The jackets basically won every game we lost. That’s not going to continue. Win here and we are good.

That said, I’d rather fall the the WC1 spot and play the caps. Otherwise it’s the pens.

Lindblom is about to start producing for line 2. Couts will eventually get it going for line 1. Simmer will get going for line 3. The team is playing better than when they were winning games.

Hak shell is tough to see but I think it will get better. Just not sure when.

Bob has been very good lately, so this one might not turn out well. Plus, Columbus likes to put up a ton of shots, so Mrazek is gonna make things interesting.

And seriously, put Sanheim on the 2nd PP unit. I mean, really, why the f*** is Filp there and not Sanheim on the back end?

You know the answer. There is zero possibility Haktard will put 5 young players on the ice at the same time.

Because vets know best. They are reliable, local and hand-tame. Hakstol had no damn choice.

I mean look at the Bruins or Maple Leafs for example. All the young guys made them bottom-dwellers ................................

It was obvious Vegas was pressuring Filppula and only filpulla on the pk. Hak literally does exactly what other teams want him to do.

Bob always plays the Flyers tough, couple that with Hack’s great coaching things don’t look to well, hopefully Hexy gets his head out of his ass and sees what is going on

I'm feeling another close regulation loss. Tied in the third and Hak will play for overtime and get burned.

If this game is a loss, we are staring at a very real chance of missing the playoffs, which would be one of the more famous collapses in NHL history. If anyone can do it, it's Hakstol.

He already has some distinct records, such as:

Only team to win 10 in a row and miss the Playoffs
Fewest goals scored in first 20 games in Flyers history

There may not be enough road left to get better.

I’m sure they could lose a few more coming up. It could workout if they continue the lose and win stretches into the playoffs. Go 12 games in the playoffs without a loss and you are doing wel haha. Of course they are bad against good teams and in a series so whatever.

If 91 points is still the cut-off, we need to go 4-6-2 or 5-7 to get into the Playoffs. I'm not feeling overly confident in either of those scenarios. I'd say we are really about 50/50 to get in, which is just insane after being in 1st in the Division so recently. Just an epic collapse to miss at this point.

Just thinking about Tortorella salivating at all the ways he is going to butcher Hakstol in match-ups on Thursday, even though the game is in Philly, is so depressing.

An epic collapse down at least 90% to idiotic coaching.
