It's crazy that a backup goalie and a putrid defense can shutout a great offense

Hank in net making exact same saves = bailing out the defense
Raanta in net making exact same saves = defense played well

Lundqvist made mind-blowing saves. Raanta made a lot of solid, and one amazing save.

Good game all around. The offense FINALLY created some traffic in front and used the middle of the ice instead of the hanging out around the perimeter, if only they can do this with more consistency.

Raanta looked great and the defense looked solid. McDonagh and Staal looked like their old selves, always nice to see Staal get involved and contribute offensively.

Great game. Not much to complain about, except how awful Hayes and Miller continue to be.

Rangers were good. Sharks didn't bring much to the table. Good set up for the shutout.

4 years ago, the Rangers turned around their season with a 5-2 win at home against the Sharks early in the year.

Only d-pairing that was bad was Yandle-Girardi. Offense as a whole was excellent and i'm not worried about the 3rd line-- Hayes will figure it out soon.
