Ahh Gord Miller, thank god he is calling the game.
Sarcasm?

This NBC announcing crew is about as bland as a presentation can get. The play by play guy has no thoughts beyond what is printed on the stat sheet in front of him, and the color analyst isn’t exactly full of personality. Maybe the strangest thing is they aren’t interacting with each other at all. There’s no conversation and no chemistry. It’s just two people filling their prescribed spaces in the broadcast with words. Have they ever worked together before?

I always wished that every sports game gave you sound options.
A) National broadcast
B) Home broadcast
C) Away broadcast
D) None (have just game noise & PA sound)
This is even more possible with internet tv becoming a thing.

I generally like the odd national broadcast to get some idea of what the national media is saying about the Stars. Unfortunately, we are not getting a quality broadcast crew.

This broadcast sucks. I always hate the national calls until they get to the legit NBC crew which we pretty much never get.

What a snoozefest. The powerplay top unit passes up way too many opportunities to try to make the pretty play. Meanwhile the 2nd unit can't even pass the puck at all

Minnesota is playing some very tight defense around their net and doing just about nothing else. Great for suppressing shots and that’s about it.

And Spezza need to stop with the passes into the slot to no one in particular.

God it's so annoying. I know his shot isn't accurate anymore, but he just needs to start shooting for a rebound more than anything. It's so hard to watch him do the same thing over and over
