great...not looking forward to seeing us play vegas. Their speed will give us fits. This could easily be 5 losses in a row. Not good. Hopefully they wake tf up and start scoring. Can we play with the lead for a few games in a row please? I can't remember the last time that happened

Are we going to bring in the young kids or still go with the same ****? Who wants to bet that Morin isn't going to play?

Was just going to mention Morin, sitting all season when he is finally healthy.

So...will Morin sit once again...

The Flyers of the past 10 years would come up with a good performance against a Play-off team after losses against subpar teams.

We have Tyler Pitlick and Scott Laughton on our third line. That’ll ducking help JVR score. Just shoot me. Apparently our trend of dragging every good D we have with assorted trash continues into this season.

We legit might have the worst third line and bottom six in the league on paper.

Somewhere, FL
Farabee, last 4 games, 3 goals and an assist
Frost has 4 points in his last 2 games, generated a ton of shots last night and was the only Phantom to score in the shootout.
Rubtsov has been their best forward all season and was leading the team in scoring going into last nights game and Myers has been their best Dman and is playing on the top pair.

Open your eyes Chuck!

The Corsi For Rel % for the bottom 6 is hilariously awful.

Also, Sanheim needs to wake the f*** up. Hes been sleepwalking through the last 3 games.

Why would Morin play? Hagg has done his job & the team has only conceded 22 & 16 shots the last two games. Offense & goaltending are the problems.

I kind of disagree that it’s purely on Patrick being hurt.

A big part of it? Sure.

However there is no reason or excuse for some of the bottom 6 slop they are rolling out, and seemingly zero chance at Myers getting in to play unless an injury occurs.

In regards to Myers, they have chosen to go with Braun and Hagg over him. The “safe” players, over a kid that has risk to his game but might actually help move your club past perpetual mediocrity.

Pathetic. Cowardly and outdated veteran favouritism.

Common sense.

Myers wasn't ready, are we forgetting that he was gifted the #6 spot and screwed the pooch? This isn't a guy who had to win a job, just not lose it.
Farabee and Frost are 19 and 20, both are undersized, both have no pro experience. Starting in the AHL isn't the worst thing in the world.
Rubtsov started this year with 30 pro games under his belt and missing more than a full season due to injury, don't forget, he's only 21.

They'll all be up at some point, probably within the next month or two if they continue to play this well (beware of SSS performances, why do the same people who complain about Twarynski and Bunnaman making the team off SSS performances in camp against NHL players accept SSS performances against AHL players as proof that the top prospects are NHL ready?).

It's not like this team is getting outskated and outshot night after night.
Right now they're in a funk, from the goalie to the top 7 forwards.
AV noted that his stress on defense may have them playing a bit tentative, that's normal with a new scheme, think too much and you'll be half a stride behind, the only cure is to play through to the point where it becomes second nature.
