Won 13 of the last 15, actually.

Ackchually... That's a big, bold lie.

Bruins record vs the Leafs... In bold are the seasons where the Leafs had/have a winning record vs the Bruins.
Few and far between those seasons with a winning record and for sure not "won 13 of the last 15 games" (spoiler: the last 15 games between the franchise are from 12-31-2014 to today. The real record is 6-7-2).
What source did you get that from? I got mine from here: 2017-2018 Boston Bruins vs All Teams - Boston Bruins - Standings

17-18: 1-2-1
16-17: 0-4-0
15-16: 4-0-1
14-15: 2-1-1
13-14: 2-1-1
12-13: 3-1-0
11-12: 6-0-0
10-11: 2-2-2
09-10: 4-1-1
08-09: 5-1-0
07-08: 5-1-2
06-07: 5-3-0
05-06: 4-2-2
03-04: 3-3-0
02-03: 3-2-0
01-02: 1-4-0

The combined record here is... 89 games between Boston and Toronto since 01-02... Boston is 50-28-11... a 624 pts% or a or a 102 points pace for 82 games.

I think it will 6 or 7. Andersen is playing too well right now. As we know from past history a hot Goalie can be a difference maker. So I think Andersen who is a legitimate Vezina candidate this year stays on his game keeps this close. This one will go atleast 6 games, and it would not surprise me if it went 7. Assuming both rosters are healthy, I will give the edge to the Bruins. Think home ice may be the difference. Plus they have some proven playoff warriors on that roster.

If Boston can play the Leafs physical, they'll win...

If Boston plays a track meet style, they'll lose...

Leafs in 5 or 6. Boston ain't on their level and it's gonna show during the playoffs, mark my words.
And the proof for that is Boston winning a cup with Chara, Marchand, Bergeron, Rask...

Oh right you said Toronto in 5-6. Unlikely, Boston in 5-6.

Not even close to the same team, boy you sound desperate.

Facts are, Boston's only managed to beat Toronto once in the last 2 years. In the playoffs, the trend will continue and Toronto will oust the Bruins in dominant fashion.

You missed this bit, uh?

Not really, I never said my post needed to be for the last 13-15 games. I was pointing out the relevant stats...the last two seasons.

So... The last two seasons is relevant... Somehow the last 4 seasons (= those 15 games) is also relevant... But beyond that, it isn't. I wonder why... :sarcasm:
BECAUSE Jose theodore's vezina has nothing to with the present and joe Thornton and mats sundin are not gonna battle it out in this time and age. Also 2 years is much much more relevant than 16 seasons. Hard to believe huh? Also I never said there was 15 games in 2 seasons. I actually had a debate with some guy about it on the leaf board.

That post of mine you just quoted was in relation to this exchange:

And I pointed you to the bit about the 15 games. So my post was (also) about those 15 games. Another fail from you.

In regards to that, you pointed out more than 15 games, whether you explained why or not.

Like I said, I pointed out the relevant games with the teams that resemble what they will be in the playoffs.

Fail.

I think this will be a really close series and could go either way. Depth will be tested. Home ice will be super important and will likely decide the series.

Good luck hopefully we get this series. It should be a fun series.

I think it'll be a close one, that will depend on a lot of factors - but I think Bruins would win the series. When Bruins play their game big and heavy-hitting it matchs up well against the Leafs. The defense gets hemmed in their own zone and Bruins will get scoring chances galore. Home ice will be huge for the series, because if Babcock gets last change he can somewhat negate that advantage for the Bruins.

Either team can lose if their goaltender isn't hot for the series, because I get the feeling it won't be a low scoring affair.
