That was also back when 16 of 21 teams got into the playoffs. The6 still finished the season well under .500 but got in because expansion hasn’t yet filled out the league.

Also this is another one of the reasons so many people wanted Harley to make the team. Hanley and Fedun are not NHL players . Fedun was a nice story who as the 12th 13th guy up could help a team but he's not an NHL caliber player and neither is Joel Hanley.
